Alpha arbutin is a great product Cause it stops the enzyme 'tyrosinase' to get into melanocytes. Melanocyte is where melanin is Produced. As we know less melanin less pigmentation. We brown skin people have large melanocytes then the causation skin so be we easily get hyperpigmentation. What alpha arbutin does is it breaks it bond with a glucoses on our skin and and creates hydroquinone. As we know hydroquinone is one of the most effective whitening substance. But it have some severe side effects cause it blocks the "melanocytes" which is why direct hydroquinone is not good for long term use But for alpha arbutine it’s safer , as the internet says "alpha arbutin is a safe and effective alternative to hydroquinone" You can use alpha arbutin as a spot treatment or all over your face but patch tests are recommended Oh i love this product!!💕💕
